YAA strives to find rehearsal locations and campuses that are conveniently located and accessible to our families throughout Montgomery County and the greater Washington, DC area.

Music Center at Strathmore
Venue for: Spring Mainstage Production.
5301 Tuckerman Lane | North Bethesda, MD 20852
Designed by the same team who designed the Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, the Concert Hall seats 1,976. The state-of-the-art theater has housed legendary performers such as Diana Ross, Tony Bennett, Angélique Kidjo and many more. YAA has been an Affilliate organization of Strathmore since 2014.

Capital One Hall
Venue for: Fall Mainstage Production.

Capital One Hall is a performing arts center, music hall, and corporate event facility in Tysons, Virginia that opened to the public on October 1, 2021. The venue offers a wide range of programming, while also serving as a corporate event center for the nearby headquarters of Capital One.

The Fillmore Silver Spring

The Fillmore Silver Spring brings a dynamic, first-class venue to the arts and entertainment district of Downtown Silver Spring, located just outside of Washington, DC. For more than 40 years, the legendary Fillmore name has stood as the link between some of the most influential artists in music and their fans. With a capacity of 2,000, the Fillmore offers an array of diverse live music programming. The venue opened its doors in 2011 in partnership with Montgomery County and features state-of-the-art lighting and sound, stadium style tiers on the balcony level, and a lounge area.

8270 Alumni Drive | College Park, MD 20742The Ina & Jack Kay Theatre is a classic proscenium theatre that combines the atmosphere of an “Old Broadway” house with the amenities of a state-of-the-art performance venue. With a massive fly system, theatrical lighting, expansive wing space and an adjacent scene shop, the 626-seat theatre accommodates the complex sets of opera, dance, and theatrical productions.

Dekelboum Concert Hall at The Clarice

8270 Alumni Drive | College Park, MD 20742The Elsie & Marvin Dekelboum Concert Hall allows for sizeable audiences at 970 seats, yet every seat provides a sense of intimacy. The hall has seating on the main floor, balcony and boxes on both sides of the venue. The stage features a (partially retractable) riser system and adjustable acoustical curtains help ensure ideal sound quality for performances and recordings.

Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
2700 F St NW | Washington, DC 20566The Kennedy Center presents a free performance daily at 6:00pm on its Millennium Stage in the Grand Foyer. Featuring a wide range of art forms, the program includes artists and groups from all 50 states, international artists, an Artist-in-Residence program, and a Local Dance Commissioning Project. Performances are streamed live online where an extensive performance archive is also available for viewing.

Maryland Public Television

Maryland Public Television is celebrating the opening of a mammoth new studio. The space is almost 8,500 square feet and is named for Montgomery County residents Irene and Edward Kaplan, two longtime supporters of MPT. It took about two years to complete the $9.5 million project.

Performing Arts & Humanities Building
1000 Hilltop Circle | Baltimore, MD 21250The Dance Cube (3,500 sq. ft) has two glass walls with a view of Baltimore, a basket-weave sprung floor, and retractable risers that allow the space to be converted into a performance venue seating approximately 100 people. It is fully equipped with state of the art lighting and AV systems.

The Vault is a versatile, state-of-the-art 300-capacity room designed to provide an exceptional experience for fans and unbound creative capability for artists. Located inside Capital One Hall in the heart of Tysons, VA, The Vault is Northern Virginia's new premier room for live experiences.

YAA utilizes the Orchestra and Chorus Rooms at Churchill HS. YAA entrance is at the glass doors nearest the football field, at the Bish Auditorium entrance.

Saint Mark Presbyterian Church

YAA utilizes the large Fellowship Hall and Sanctuary for rehearsals. Note that the entrance to Saint Mark’s can only be accessed when driving north on Old Georgetown Road.

The 318,000-square-foot structure is the foundation for six performance venues and a vibrant community of artists, students and expert instructors who give life to artistry and expression on and off the stage.

Performing Arts & Humanities Building
1000 Hilltop Circle,, Baltimore, MD 21250The Performing Arts and Humanities Building (PAHB) provides state of the art facilities for the UMBC Departments of Theatre, Music, and Dance. The PAHB houses a 100-seat Dance Cube, 250-seat Proscenium Theatre, 125-seat Black Box Theatre, two rehearsal studios, two dance studios, design studios, costume shop, scene shop, dressing rooms, conference rooms and class rooms. The PAHB is a premier facility in the region, providing a home for the arts in Baltimore and UMBC.
